Immunizations
Rainbow Pediatrics follows the AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics), the CDC (Center of Disease Control) and Bright Futures schedule for vaccine administration. Vaccinations are a vital part of preventative care. To learn more about vaccinations and the diseases they protect against, please go to our Immunizations Guide.
Our Flu Clinics
The first step in protecting your child from the influenza viruses is an annual flu shot. Our clinics are set up as a first come, first served and will run as long as we have the vaccine available. Once we run out of supply, we will have to cancel clinics, so we encourage patients to attend as soon as their schedule will allow. To learn more visit our Flu Clinic page.
2020 Walk In Schedule
SUSPENDED DUE TO COVID
Walk-in Hours:
Monday - Friday: 8am
Saturday: 9am - 11am
Rainbow Pediatrics offers the option of walk-in hours for acutely ill patients. Please note we do limit the number of walk ins so please be sure to arrive promptly at 8:00am to take advantage of these appointments that are provided for established patients only. Walk-in are “quick” appointments to address acute issues such as ear infections, fever, rash or sore throat. Walk-in visits are not intended for chronic and wellness issues such as medication checks, chronic cough, well checks, sports physicals, ear piercing, immunizations, etc. For all of these issues, you will need to schedule an appointment during regular office hours. Thank you for adhering to our policy on walk-ins. We are happy to provide these “special” hours for our patients with more critical/urgent issues so we can get your child feeling better in a much quicker manner.
24-Hour Emergency Service
Rainbow Pediatrics is happy to be able to provide 24 hour care, seven days a week. We have a physician on call after regular business hours and a triage nurse is available to answer questions or concerns you may have throughout the late night hours. We are always here for you whenever you need us.
In the event of an emergency, always call 9-1-1.
