Influenza (flu) is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. It can cause mild to severe illness. Serious outcomes of flu infection can result in hospitalization or death.  Young children are at high risk for serious flu complications. The best way to prevent the flu is by getting vaccinated each year.

Our Flu Clinics

Our patients have the convenience of attending our Flu Clinic, available every Saturday in October and November from 9-11 am at our New Albany office.  No appointment is necessary.

Getting an annual flu vaccine is the first and best way to protect your family from the flu. Flu vaccinations can reduce flu illnesses, doctors’ visits, and missed work and school due to the virus.
