Dear Rainbow Families:
In an effort to protect our patients, families and staff during the current COVID-19 outbreak, we are forced to make some necessary changes to our practice hours and operation. The safety of our staff and patients always comes first, we know you understand. Please see the changes below which will be effective immediately:
We are now offering “telemedicine” visits for all patients. You would still call in, as normal, and schedule an appointment for your child and your Provider will call you during that designated appointment time.
Monday – Friday – 9:00am – 3:00 pm
Saturday & Sunday - CLOSED
Temporarily suspending all walk-in clinic times including Saturday.
- (1) We are still scheduling “necessary” in office visits and spreading out those visits to allow for social distancing and appropriate disinfecting. Please inform us if your child has a fever, cough and/or shortness of breath and our nurses will triage you the best plan of care prior to coming into the office.
- (2) If your child is sick, he/she must wear a mask prior to entering the building.
- (3) If you are feeling uncomfortable, you can check in from your car. Just give us a call and we are happy to call back when we are ready to take you into a room.
- (4) Only one family member can accompany a patient to the visit. Only exception is for patients with newborns.
All prenatal orientations have been temporarily suspended. However, we are happy to schedule “virtual calls” for new parents with one of our providers. If you are interested in talking to one of our Providers, please email [email protected] and we will get back to you as soon as we possibly to get a date on the calendar.
With the news changing daily about COVID-19, we are overwhelmed, but hopeful and we know we are all in this together! The other day there was ironically enough a beautiful “rainbow” in the sky. A little reminder that everything will be ok in time. Stay healthy & safe and know that all of us here at Rainbow Pediatrics are here for you always.
