24-Hour Emergency
Service
The physicians and
practioners of Rainbow Pediatrics are available to our established
families 24 hours a day seven days a week.
Our regular
phone hours are Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 12:30 pm and 1:30
pm to 5:00 pm. On Friday our phone hours are 8:30 am to 12:30
pm and 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
Saturday 8:30 am to 10:00 am to
schedule a same day appointment for ACUTELY ILL
children.
Outside of these hours the phones will be
answered by a voice mail system. If your child has an urgent
or serious medical problem that should not wait until regular office
hours you will be directed to leave a message for the doctor
on-call. If your child's
condition warrants immediate attention, you may be directed to
Columbus Children's Hospital
Emergency Room or one of their community Close to Home Centers
(www.NationwideChildrens.com).
Between the hours of 10 pm and 6:30 am
you may be directed to a triage service, "Childrens After Hours," for advice or referral. Please
always call our office
